Reconstructions

Exploring the confines of Mónica Fernández's creative life reveals the marks of her movements, from the gentlest that shift a leaf like river water, to the sharp edges that chart new directions. The selection of works we present reflects her journey through life and invites us to consider the external and internal movements each person makes, again and again, throughout their lives: traversing, building, destroying, and rebuilding, reintegrating the fragments that still speak, and bidding farewell to those that no longer do.

Reconstructions focuses on those pivotal moments when the unexpected leads us to question all the certainties we had presumptuously resolved to create. Those moments when we confront fear and decide to move forward, even with it, along the uncharted paths of transformation.
